The Position
In this position, you'll coordinate and deliver evidence-based care tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. Your focus will be on empowering residents to maintain independence and lead fulfilling lives to the best of their abilities. Serving as a role model and source of support for fellow staff members, you'll contribute to a collaborative and compassionate care environment.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you'll also take on specific projects and duties as assigned, working closely with the Clinical Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Consultant, and other team members. Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support and advice to the Residential Aged Care Team as required.
- Use resources and equipment effectively and economically for authorised purposes only.
- Carry out complex clinical assessments and ensure that the clinical care needs of Residents.
- Ensure outstanding customer service to Residents, ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain effective professional relationships with other service providers, medical professionals and health professionals as required.
- Adhere to the Aged Care Code of Conduct, Charter of Care Recipients’ Rights and Responsibilities – Residential Aged Care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 12 months experience post-registration qualification.
- Current Driving Licence (preferred)
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office Professional Suite (all applications).
- Excellent Interpersonal and Active Listening Skills.
- Good Written and Communication Skills.
- Team player
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work according to strict guidelines and an eye for detail.
- Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Time, Task and Priority Management Skills.

- Hourly rates from $43.67 - $55.34 (depending on experience), including eligibility for NFP (not-for-profit) salary packaging options for permanent employees.
