The Role
In this role, you will coordinate and deliver tailored, evidence-based care to meet the unique needs of each resident. Your mission will be to empower residents to maintain independence and lead fulfilling lives. You'll serve as a role model, fostering a unified and compassionate care environment while supporting your colleagues.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you'll engage in special projects and collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Consultant, and other team members. Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and guidance to the Residential Aged Care Team
- Use resources and equipment efficiently and appropriately
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and ensure residents' care needs are met
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure resident satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with other service providers, medical professionals, and healthcare teams
- Adhere to the Aged Care Code of Conduct and Charter of Care Recipients' Rights and Responsibilities
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 12 months experience post-registration
- Current Driving Licence (preferred)
- Current CPR Certificate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Team player with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities
